For starters, your ankh looks a little like the mask from V is for Vendetta, at least it does to me. I did not know that about the whirlpools and Cove. They way I got there before was I found a ship near the shrine of compassion. I may get back in there and try the whirlpool method. Like you I have a few spare ships scattered around the land. Thanks for the idea.
