The house we rented in Belgium had gutters that overflowed with every storm. I got on the ladder to see what was wrong and discovered that the connection to the downspout was filled with debris that was more like soil than loose leaves and twigs. It was so close to soil it had a plant growing out of it. That was definitely a first for me.
