That sounds like the same band setup he had when we saw him way back in the 80s, and it was fairly sedate back then too. The one joke I remember from that show was when he introduced the band. He started to introduce them to each other, got the laugh, then introduced them to the audience. Like you, we were way in the back, but unlike you, nobody offered us better seats. Overall, it was a nice evening, no ringing ears or contact high, and I got Debi home before her curfew.
