I feel for ya on the soffit. After the tornado my dad and I replaced our damaged aluminum fascia with vinyl. I didn’t take summer into account making that decision. After many years, the vinyl was warping and rippling and we were becoming “that house”. We finally contracted someone to come in and replace all of the vinyl with aluminum. The house sure looked nice and new when they were done.
