It’s probably been thirty years since I’ve watched this surprisingly dark Disney movie, and while it held up pretty well it ended up saying “Damn the science! Full speed ahead!”

I downloaded that movie and watched it this week. I thoroughly enjoyed it again. Yes, the green screen stuff was awkward at times, but everything else was quite good for when it was made. I’m not one to criticize an old movie because it doesn’t look as good as those made recently. Take the TRON movies as another example. The difference between those is night and day, but I still like watching the original.
