My prime editing time is the wee hours of the morning. I get up around 3:15am, brew some green tea, and get to work. It’s a quiet time and I can get a lot done. It’s one of the prevailing truths of the universe: the toilet paper will always run out when you need it most, the phone will always ring when you settle in to watch a movie, and writers hate editing.
