I decided to skip this one for now, and also thank you for not listening to your daughter and exacting your well-deserved revenge on me.
So, Having finally watched the movie, I thought I’d come back and leave my thoughts. Overall I liked the movie, and Luke’s swan song. It was a fitting end to his story and I also liked the bit with his gazing at the twin suns. On the down side, was the throne room scene. I thought that scene and the elevator ride with Rey and Ben were too similar to the one from Jedi and I really didn’t like that. I’m all for a slight nod to what came before, but that was a bit much for me.
