The most unique form of public transportation we’ve used are the vaporetto. They are basically a water bus system used in Venice. We bought a 3-day pass on our trip there and rode them as much as we could. The best memory was after our anniversary dinner we put on something warm, then got on the route that ran through the Grand Canal. We sat in the front row of seats and just enjoyed watching the night life as we passed slowly by.
