  1. Debi and I were wearing masks long before it was mandatory. Mostly because we have a close friend going through cancer treatments and we needed to wear them when we visited, and it reduced our chances of picking up a bug that might make her sick.

    At first, our governor said she would not make them mandatory state-wide because it was unenforceable. When she finally did make them mandatory she made a similar statement about how it will be difficult to enforce. While that is true, I think it gives people the idea that they don’t really need to follow the order. Either way, my Star Wars mask is on my face when I’m in public.
